Our files will be included by NV Access in their offical releases of NVDA - beginning with version 2026.1.
If you have that version or a later one, you do not need to perform the manual installations described below.
Even though RHVoice knows the names of letters and symbols in Luxembourgish, NVDA will choose the names using one of the languages it knows. Probably German, French or English depending on the language of your Windows interface.
We have files which can be added to the collection of files for other language which NVDA supplies.
Download this zip archive
Unpack it and you will find an "lb" folder containing two files.
Then copy the lb folder into this folder: c:Files (x86).
If you are given a prompt for administrative privileges in the middle of copying, please proceed and let it be copied / replaced.
After you replace these files, restart your copy of NVDA, and try to type the text on your keyboard, including punctuation.
Make sure that the default setting in NVDA for "trust speech synthesizer" is enabled.
With an RHVoice Luxembourgish voice, you should hear the localized symbols.
